A great opportunity to meet the teams and give softball a try
Leeds Softball was delighted to host our annual beginner’s Open Day at Adel War Memorial Association. Suitable for both men and women, this fun afternoon of softball will introduce new players to the social sport and culminate in an informal and fun series of games.
We will have friendly trained coaches offering guidance on the basics, while our approachable player coaches will be on hand to answer any questions you have during the games and offer valuable advice.
During the games all players will be randomly selected into teams for the day – this will help forge team spirit and help new players to mingle with our more experienced softballers.
If you’ve got absolutely no experience of softball or consider yourself not very athletic or fit, this is the perfect chance for you to get a flavour of what the sport is about in an informal environment. You’ll discover why it’s so much fun and you’ll get to meet new people and make new friends.
All kit is provided, you just need to turn up with running/jogging kit.
