Formed in 2015 by Dale Wells, the Yorkshire Wandering Dales started as a friendly team willing to travel for a weekend tournament, and that hasn’t really changed since. What has changed is the results: back-to-back Division Two titles in 2018 and 2019, a Nationals appearance the same year, and Liverpool Plate and Bristol Wreck Plate wins in the years since.
2020 took the season away from everyone, the Dales included. The team came back afterwards and kept going: runners-up in the 2026 league season, still turning up to tournaments up and down the country.
