Leeds Softball, one tap away
Add the site to your home screen and it works like an app: its own icon, it opens full screen, and there’s no browser bar in the way. There’s no app store, nothing to pay and nothing to update. It’s always the latest version of the site.

A few taps on any phone
In Safari
- Open leedssoftball.co.uk in Safari.
- Tap the Share button: a square with an arrow pointing up. On newer iPhones, tap the three dots at the bottom right first.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add. The Leeds Softball icon appears on your home screen.
In Chrome
- If there’s an Install the app button above, tap it and you’re done.
- Otherwise, tap the three dots at the top right of Chrome.
- Tap Add to home screen or Install app.
- Tap Install.
Menus vary a little between phones, so look for the word Install or Add to home screen.
Hear about it first
Turn on notifications and the league can send you a quick heads-up: a cancelled session, a change of pitch, a social coming up. Only the occasional message, never adverts.
On iPhone, notifications only work in the app. Add it to your home screen (steps below), open it from there, and come back to this page.
